I started with polys and thought I loved them. Thought they were great because they didn’t squeak. Realized after trying nanos that the slippery nature of polys was interfering with my chording and really did dampen the sound. Then I loved nanos. explored non-coated strings and convinced myself I didn’t love nanos anymore. Went back to nanos after a good while and now that’s all I use. So I like them very much. This was about a 10 year process
