What is wrong with the nitro fade on yours? I do not mind it.
Martin has a great, seemingly endless stash of superior sounding sitka.
I wouldn't complain about laquer changes over sitka here.
If it was a Euro, moon, Englemann, (white) top then maybe you could have a minor issue?
How do you like the feel and sound?
I am not enthralled with my aged toner (yellow) 2016 000-18.
But it sounds and feels so great I am fine with the cosmetics.
Wonder what the UV will do to mine in a decade or two?
Also stock sales photography with great cameras and perfect lighting can be hard to replicate by amateur photographers.
