Think of a cone-shaped blast coming out of a person's mouth in the shape of a megaphone. Just move the mike out of the area of the megaphone but keep it on-axis. There shouldn't be a whole lot of blast coming out of a harp because the reeds diffuse it. By the way, the popper stopper is there so you don't have to put one of those awful foam windscreens over the mic like you do when you are playing live. The foam guys filter out high end where the popper stoppers don't.
By the way, take a close look at the pop screen and see if it doesn't look familiar. The original was created by an engineer and his wife. She took some pantyhose and stretched them over a cross-stitch hoop and he added the gooseneck and mounting hardware. Voile'! Couples ingenuity.
