The two guitars I have been using have a Baggs M1 passive and a k&k. Primarily, this is because I have watched my partner several times have to scramble mid gig to change batteries in his guitar.
That being said, I had a Gibson Advanced Jumbo with a Trance MVT, which stayed for a cup of coffee. I giggled with it one time. Into a Bose Tonematch and an L1. It likely was the best live guitar sound I had.
Grain of salt though... we play mostly Sherry Darling and rock sing along stuff. We ain’t exactly Doug Young...
