and in my experience, check out Berklee's online jazz studies, well worth it. Loads of theory and designed for players.
After years of studying classical guitar, I did three years online with Berklee, focusing on all of their Jazz course options in their master guitar program. Best music education I have experienced (so far)
Two instructors in particular stood out for me. Rick Pekham and Bruce Saunders are both top notch instructors and they also both have several publications available
