While it's been 35 years since I saw Don Teeter's book, as I recall he had some quirky methods; especially a method for epoxying in frets that was quickly abandoned by the few people I know who ever tried it. I'm sure there's good stuff in there, too.
There is a book that Irving Sloan did in conjunction with the Martin Co. in the late 70's that I thought was very good on acoustic repairs.
Frets.com is a great source. I would guess that Dan Erlewine's books (StewMac) are good, although I've never seen them.
