MIM vs. USA
Hi friends, I have always loved Teles. I realized this even more after I let my nephew talk me out of my ASAT. As I have become more and more an electric player lately I had no choice but to go out and get another one and landed what is in my opinion a fantastic Mexican tele a few months ago (pictures coming if I ever figure out how to post them). I hear that the basic MIM Fender is much better than the basic American made Fender these days. In fact, I hear you have to spend around $1,600 plus or jump into the heady custom shop stuff to get anything better than a good MIM from Fender at least.
I have never owned a custom shop or American made telecaster. Can anyone elaborate?
