Dustin, the only thing that might be a consideration in laminate choice is differential radial shrinkage between African Blackwood (2.9%) and Bocote (4.0%). Black Walnut actually moves even more (5.5%). Woods like Honduran Mahogany (2.9%) and East Indian Rosewood (2.7%) are both very close.
