According to the calendar I just turned 60. Like most I'm not sure how I got that old!
My grandmother had a good saying on her birthday. Every year I would ask her how old she was, and every year she would say "still 39."
I have always spent a lot of time around older people, in both my personal and professional lives. I have always enjoyed it, in fact as a kid I related to adults and especially older adults much better than folks my own age. And now I am one, and happy to be still "breathing air and pumping blood"-- which is how I will sometimes answer the question "how are you doing?" I also like to answer that question with "wonderful" or "never better" as I usually mean it, but it keeps people guessing
But in my "mind's eye" I'm still somewhere between my late 30's and early 50's, depending on the day.
