Go for the 58x instead at $160. Pretty much unanimous on head-fi and r/headphones as being superior to the 6xx unless you have a hefty amp. You can often find these used in mint condition on head-fi for about $130 or so shipped. Massdrop spent alot of time adjusting the tuning, but they most resemble the HD660s.
I've been a head-fi member since 2005 and have had over $50k in headphone audiophile stuff in my hands over the years, been to several CanJams, even held a couple meets. My current daily drivers are Shure KSE1200s, a $2k electrostat IEM. I consider this the best value in headphone audio, truly a hifi experience on a dime.
