This was my first set of decent headphones, and the prices have come down in the past four years, I think I paid almost $475 for them and now they're more like $275. Great headphone for portable devices like iPhone/iPad/Android etc because the resistance is 32 Ohm, meant for these devices:

Like Sage I am also looking forward to this. Is there any chance you might have an Open Back pair in this shootout like the Senn HD 600 or 650 ?
In the Pro Audio world the thinking used to be that open back had less reflection issues , although I suppose with modern computer design for closed back maybe it is not the issue it once was .
