Not with MFG, but I once commissioned an OM-35 custom from Ted at LA Guitar Sales back in 2012 that I had made with a Performing Artist Neck and a Delmar teardrop pickguard.
It was a gorgeous looking guitar, but tonally I never bonded and ended up selling it after about a year of ownership. I've seen the OM-35 referred to on UMGF as the 'mellow Martin', and I'd definitely agree with that assessment. It had deep Barry White lows and crystalline highs with a pronounced midrange scoop -- moreso than other Martin Rosewoods which are already mid scooped enough. I found it to be a much better fingerstyle guitar than a strummer, and it certainly was not something suitable for flatpicking, in my view.
As for me, I'm moving further away from the darker/warmer Martin sound these days and finding I prefer the louder, brighter, midrangier, and more articulate voicing of Collings.
Hope this helps.
