Thanks Neil, I was gonna try and shape them on the band saw before I bent them but I was afraid I would get off on my bends and then be up the creek so to speak. But, Shaping the sides this way wasn't bad at all. Kind of enjoyable as I had never used a hand plane to shape anything before.
Thanks for the pics in your previous post. I believe I will make one of the radius jigs to shape my braces by. Then go ahead and make one of the kerfing sanding jigs like you did also. Great Idea.
I had seen a post where someone had used poplar to make their kerfing. Do you have any experience using poplar as kerfing?
I may try and get to the neck block today. I'm gonna go with a bolt on neck for this one.
