That's probably why the headstock logo says 'Sheeran' and not 'Lowden'.
OK, it has 'by Lowden' in very small letters below the 'Sheeran' logo in much larger letters, but I very much doubt that anyone will seriously believe that a £600 Sheeran is the same thing as a £3,000+ Lowden, nor that the quality of Lowden-badged instruments is 'undermined' or 'reduced' simply by virtue of the introduction of an 'affordable' range.

I could be wrong, but that's my take on it.
