Small boost here for anyone who is contemplating a build with Bruce: I have enjoyed working with him, he has a really nice collection of interesting wood from the best Brazilian to weird but excellent stuff (my current thing) like Oregon Myrtle, European Pear, Pernambuco, etc., AND, most importantly, in my opinion Bruce is doing VERY nice work these days musically, very delicate/refined and soulful. I like his recent work best of any of his instruments I have played. His 50+ years of dedicated work have really produced something special in my opinion - a distinctive sound which appeals to me, and very sensitive instruments. I am happy with my little Snakewood Lotus, and have high expectations for my bigger European Pear Lotus #2.
