Hi, regarding smaller guitars, I have a Collings 0002h, a Waterloo
WL-12 and a British made 0028.

I put D'addario EJ16s (12-53) on all.

I've been "yearning" for a Martin/Collings style 00 on which I would also use the same strings.

I've just checked boh the Collings and the Martin websites and both 00 and 0 size guitars are shown to recommend 12-53/54 lights.

I can't speak about your alternate tunings. I have a friend who has a Collings OM3 and know that he uses even lighter strings, but I don't know which.
