I believe you're so right, Tom! Joel has done a great job of choreographing the color scheme with this project. I think the the binding/purfling would have been a great accent alone, but the way the rosette came together with those wood and color choices...well, that just sent everything over the top!
The best part is that there are still a few surprises in store
