So yummy. On the 00 in particular, Michael's slotted headstocks are to die for, and I wish I had one on mine. I just feel they balance out the guitar and give it a level of sophistication.
My Avian Skylark was configured with slotted head, bevel & fan fret, which for under $1500 was mildly ludicrous. Does it compare with Michael's luthier built guitars speaking in absolute terms? Of course not, and it's wild to even think about what an LS sinker top over mahogany must feel like, because the Adi/Hog I have is already so good. But at that price point the Avian offers an incredible feature set and it's too bad that venture did not pan out.
