If you want to catch a fish, put a lot of hooks in the water. I’ve bought and sold several arch top guitars and have resigned myself to be more patient. It’s not as easy a sale as a flat top Martin or Taylor. Here is a good place to drop a hook, but Craigslist and Reverb are my best selling partners for guitars. eBay, not so much-higher fees, lots of distracting ads, etc.
Best way to sell ANYTHING ON LINE: take tons of clear, we’ll lit pictures, take time to do a very detailed description, if possible put up a short YouTube link of it being played, and ALWAYS respond quickly to any questions. A follow up check-back is always a good idea. Packing guitars safely for shipping is an art. There are many online places that detail this from experienced people out there willing to share their knowledge. Good luck with your sale!
