I was going to recommend PBs to tone down the brightness but I checked the specs and it's stock with PBs, Martin Lifespan. When it's time for a string change try some John Pearse PBs.
Can you look at the strings to see if they're still stock (based on the color)?
... oh, and Congrats on the Martin! Great that you have Sweetwater so close.
