congrats on the Uke Wade.
i've been thru just about every string brand and i really like Daniel Ho PHD strings, especially when set up in Low G.
I've owned a couple small shop Ukes, Kanilea, and have finally settled on Kamaka.
I had a Blackbird Clara Ekoa and sold it in some sort of rage of MAS, count that one as the top bad sell mistake of my lifetime.
