Here are a few pics of the rosette. The outer ring will be complete as soon as I get more abalone in this week.

Of course I did not originate this type of design, but here is our take on it, and the one going in this guitar.

I am really happy with the colors in this rosette and how they look against the sinker redwood. My son put this together.
