Looking to trade for a Martin D-28 Reimagined Standard Series. That's what I'd prefer but I'd also look at the HD-28 Reimagined, D-21 Special... maybe even an OM-21 or OM-28.
Open to cash offers as well.
MSRP on these was $3870 so I'm guessing street price was $2300-2400. I paid $2000 for it used several years ago from Dave's Guitars.
Adirondack top and braces, EIR back and sides, mahogany neck, EIR fretboard and bridge... and a powerful sweet tone. Strums really well and is exceptional fingerpicked. A wonderful example of this Gibson model.
I'm setting trade value at SOLD.
I replaced the LR Baggs Element VTC with a K&K Pure Mini and upgraded the tuning machines to Waverlys. I also upgraded the bridge pins and saddle to bone.
Let me know if you are interested. The only flaw I see is hanger wear on the sides of the headstock. It’s through to the wood on one side (small area of finish chipped off) but the wood is undamaged... price adjusted accordingly. This happened as a result of hanging this guitar on a Hamilton stand with worn out rubber (holes in it that I didn't notice) and the wood came in direct contact with the metal. I'll get you whatever other pictures you want as well.
My email is kohara at bellsouth dot net.
I’m ohara58 on eBay, 100% positive feedback and lots of it.
Thanks!
