It has been just the two of us this year.

Jane got an cashmere sweater that she'd been looking at for some time, and she bought me a silky scarf and a "flat cap" (think peaky blinders).
We are at that age - don't need much that we can't just go out and buy.

We decided that we didn't want a turkey so got a free range local chicken which I prepared a la Jamie Oliver which worked really well with allsorts of veggies roasted with it and my own style of stuffing. I can only eat meat that is VERY soft and moist and it succeeded well. I can no longer eat Christmas pudding but found a great pomme tatin that I'm still enjoying. Third night with chicken!

The kids (they are in their late '40s) were working Xmas Eve and boxing day so we didn't see them, as priorities were their kids and Kelly's parents, but
hopefully soon.

I've discovered that I can drink canned Guinness! so that's good (but one can now makes me feel tipsy!)

Haven't seen as guitar for ages!

Jam on 31st so maybe i'll get some picking in.
