Thanks for the feedback. They are 18:1. I think the Gotoh 510 mini's we were going to use were also 18:1. I know the midsize come in 21:1 and maybe that is the better option.
I have also considered the newer Waverly 21:1 for another open back option. I haven't had problems with Waverly's but I see a fair number of people with issues with them.
