Have a look at the Cordoba C5 Dolce. It is ever so slightly a smaller body than the full sized C5, which is a fantastic entry level/beginner classical guitar. It has a 630mm scale length, which equates roughly to a 24 3/4 in scale (Gibson-like). The nut width is just a couple mm narrower than standard. Tone wise I don’t think the Dolce would suffer much. The difference in size is minimal but the shorter scale might make the transition to the wide neck of a classical guitar easier on big chord stretches.. Cordoba has two more models of this same size, but higher up on their quality level and both are all solid. They are the C9 Parlor and C10 Parlor. You should not have any problems with a full size classical, should you choose to go that direction. The selection of guitars would be far greater.
