Thanks, interesting stuff. Perhaps I will try AT2035 pointed at 12th fret mixed with Anthem SL as that combines mic and piezo.

Yeah, I said AT2035. I went and changed my order again to two AT2035s after reading a bunch of horror stories about the AKG C1000. Andertons have very patient customer services.

My friend pointed out he’d prefer two different mics for frequency ranges but it’s too late now, I read so much good stuff about the AT2035 I think I made a good choice for an extra £25.
