Over the years my guitar playing developed into a hybrid style used alot by Glen Campbell. Holding flatpick between thumb and index and picking at times with the middle and ring. Thus as I went to the banjo I could naturally do three finger rolls with my flat pick alternating the bass like a thumb pick. The rolls I have been using in Praise Band at church. "Here comes the sun" is straight flat picking. Dylan songs, started to combine all the styles and also flick with my fingernails at times semi flailing? That is a work in progress, love what the banjo does to "Just Like A Woman". Only had the Banjo a month so everything right now is a experiment. But I am self taught so I just keep experimenting on a song for months till it develops into what I like. Not very efficient cause I really don't know what I am doing but I know what I like when I hear it.
