From the specifications

Input jack: Channel 1 MIC input jack:
(XLR type [balanced], 6 kΩ, specified level -20 dBV)

MIC/LINE input jack: (6.3 mm monaural phone jack [unbalanced], MIC: 3.5 kΩ, specified level -20 dBV, LINE: 7.5 kΩ, specified level 0 dBV)

So you get super low fixed input gain... (Same story as JBL eon one, Mackie freeplay...) and LOW-Z input.


At least they write it in the manual:

*13 MIC/LINE switch:
Switches between either MIC level or LINE level on the MIC/LINE input jack for channel 1.

Tip: When connecting a passive-type guitar or other instrument (one that does not use a preamp), connect the instrument to a commercially available preamp or effector first, and then connect the preamp to the LINE input jack of the KONNECT

Except Fishman, nobody wants to put gain pots anymore... Let's hope Bose S1 Pro will be better designed.
