I've got a '69 Gibson ES150D that used to belong to a guitar idol of mine and it's got to be the easiest to play neck I've ever seen. Recently though I've been looking for something with more punch, can still be jazz, and won't feed back, so last week picked up a ES 135 Limited with the '57 PAF humbuckers. Actually the one I have is temporary till a blonde one shows up. It's from the new plant in Memphis and I'd say they've got a ways to go in the detail department. Assuming the blonde one shows up with the same set up, I'm looking at about $200 to get the frets and setup to what I'd call professional. In addition I'll be adding a Bigsby tailpiece. Still I think it's worth it at $999.
