The installation itself was okay, nothing went wrong. It was simply a bad idea and the wrong pickup for this guitar.
The sound of a CPX and even an APX is really good with these systems. Itīs full and fat - to be more precise, itīs fuller and fatter than these guitars sound acoustically. That trick works pretty well but in my case the luthier installed it into a Faith Neptune (Naked Series), which sounds already full and fat. That led to a boomy plugged-in-sound.
Get the idea? Iīm not sure if I can explain it properly in English - I am not a native speaker.
