Haven’t heard your voice but have you tried something as basic as the SM58?
The Neumann is a good mic (I have have the cardioid 104) and the super/hyper-cardioid pattern is ok if you can stay on the mic and keep the gain down so that rear node is not picking up the room or floor monitors that are incorrectly placed (for that kind of mic).
But, for live use, I do like the standard dynamics. The Senn e835 is a good option if you like a bit of upper boost.
