I have a few questions about the Taylor 314ce.

I saw 2 Taylor 314ce at my local guitar store. One has the expression 1 pickup system (old version) and one has the expression 2 pickup system (new version). They are clearing out the old version at the price of $1274. The new version is $1699.

1) What year did Taylor 314ce change the pickguard from turquoise to black?
2) Does anyone know which year is the model number 60xxxxxx vs 90xxxxxx?
3) Were all Taylor 314ce maybe with all solid wood (side, back and top) since they came out?
4) I heard the neck of the older version is different from the current Taylor 314ce version 2014. What is the difference?
5) Should I get the older version or the new version?
