3 basic locations to measure:

1) nut: I use feeer gauges to measure height of the string of the first fret.
For me, .01 to 0.002” from low to high E. I would sort the nut first and then work around that.

2) relief around the 7th fret. Simple: turn the truss rod to a region of around .01” I go 0.005” as someone who doesn’t attack the strings too hard.

3) saddle, but measured around the 12th fret:
If you capo the first fret, measure at the 13th fret so the math works out perfectly to adjust the saddle. As usual, lower the saddle by the distance you want to lower the string height at the 12/13th fret, doubled.
I range around 0.055” to 0.035” low to high E.
