Just looked at the specs. Your SG has a 1/2" maple cap. That'll add a little weight. I wonder if it's in the 7.5 lbs range.

Looking on-line, weight estimates run from 6 pounds to 11 pounds. I put it on my bathroom scale just now (not super accurate at that light weight) and it came in around 9 pounds. It feels noticeably heavier than my T5. Makes my Emerald carbon fiber guitars feel like they're going to float away.
