I am in your boat too. I am looking for a Fishman Loudbox first and foremost, but I also am looking into a semihollow jazzbox or Tele as well. I've played the T386 thru an Loudbox Artist and it was pretty decent to say the least. I want to go with an amp that can multi-task. Downside is youre not supposed to overdrive the Loudbox. Not sure that is gonna be a worry for me.
But - The Eastman T386 is a nice axe for the money. I liked it better than the Godin Montreal Supreme i was going to buy. The neck and action felt nicer and I think it was screwed together better as well.
