I have a set of Lil Killers in my strat. I tapped them (using push on, push off pots) and lost the 5 way switch, wiring them like a Jazz bass with 3 volumes so I't just about as versatile as it can be.
I can have neck pup tapped at 3 and bridge HB at 7 or any other combination you can imagine.
soundwise? all the volume you could want and a great tone too. I'd DEFINITELY buy another set, and I recomend them to any of my pupils who are building electrics. added to the quality is the service (excellent again, they lie about the package's value so no customs charges!!!) and they are SOOOOOOOO cheap it makes you feel for the poor sweatshop labourers (that everyone else uses too, GFS just don't rip US off like the other manufacturers!!
