My first acceptable play-thru
This first play thru is unusual for me because it's played at tempo! Normally, my first play thru is at half tempo and I work my way up to tempo on the successive play-thrus; ending with the last play-thru at tempo.
I think the reason for this is because of this thread! I've never really practice this much on any piece before. I think I may have gone on too long (i.e. should have make my first recording much sooner).
There're many problems with this first play-thru; among them: I'm off the metronome a lot; I'm not damping the strings. These 2 issues, I want to resolve by tomorrow. (Hopefully.)
The play-thru is at the end of today's practice session (I was just happy to get a semi-clean-ish play-thru that I'm just going to ignore that dryer beep).

Oh, I've decided to not memorize this piece; I don't think I have enough time. However, memorization is a very useful skill; and I want to practice it by memorizing my next month's pieces.
