Now I use the Oasis trebles paired with the Savarez Cantiga bass strings on my nylon string guitars. They seem to be much more balanced for me.
The breaks seem to take place in the upper third of string 4 or 5, closer to the nut than the saddle, but at the next string change, I'll take a look at both parts to look for sharp spots.
