Agreed, New Mexico State, UT Martin were just two of the SEC's cupcakes last week.
It is worth noting several publications have Cincinnati ranked in the top 40 in preseason and today.

"ranking" this week #39 (falling 5 spots from last weeks ranking) however they remain ranked ahead of five Pac 12 teams.
I applaud the LSU's and Texas AD's who schedule out of conference games. It is difficult to know several years out when scheduling which teams will be in the top tier. This is Luke Fickell's third season with the Bearcats so it will be worthwhile to see if they can recover from last week's game and win out the rest of the season. UCF and UC game will be one to watch.
