An advantage that's oft overlooked is that Rainsongs are incredibly light. The Access Stage III hardshell cases that Rainsong uses are, on the other hand, kind of heavy at 10.9 lbs. I picked up a lightweight SKB TSA-approved molded case for my new Vintage, and it became a very lightweight combination should I need/desire to travel with it...
