Dick Dubois has been recommended to me more than anywhere/anyone in Austin, though I’ve never worked with him. I’ve had great work done at South Austin Guitar, and Straight Music ... whichever Straight shop you go to they send it to South shop, and though I’ve never talked in person because of this, they’re on the phone with me to check every detail. However, I usually go to Fiddler’s Green on West 35th .... they’ve had 2 guys over last 5+ years, and I thought the first guys was the best I’d ever used ... but the newer guy turned out to be just as awesome and he’s in the job live more. Cool shop, though guitars are just part of their gig.
