I played a couple of almansas. They are awesome.
Even those solid/laminated are just superb.
Their quality is hard to beat.
As you devote more time to CG, you will develop a taste and will be more aware of what you really need.
From there, please dive into the second hand market. I got my dread guitar for half of the price.
