thanks for asking. A recorded pickup always sounds much different from the same signal sent through a linear sounding speaker. IMHO that way it is much easier to find out how close a pickup comes to the acoustic sound of the instrument.

Thanks for the clarification. I had originally read your post as "these are the wavemaps I use in a live situation", not "here's a comparison of the real-world performance of the wavemaps I created." I now see that you were offering a sound comparison. That makes much more sense!
