I hate that CA went under, but I don't think there was ever a possibility of CA guitars appreciating in value. At best they might have held there value.
The reality is that no ones production guitars have gone up in value in the past 10-20 years, at best they have held their value, or only slightly decreased. When you factor in inflation they have almost all been losing investments.
What is really strange is I was 3 hours late from geting a CA Performer, but missed it as it was transferred to another GuitarCenter. I really wanted that guitar too.
