I mentioned this in another post but I A/B compared AKG 1000/3000 and Rode NT and NT2 mikes for recording acoustic guitar. I wanted a mike that would work for my hobby studio under $500. I bought the NT2 and haven't been disappointed.
Recently I bought a Taylor 514CE(my second Taylor) and was amazed at how it sounded plugged directly into my Roland VS880EX. The blender system worked well to reproduce(or imitate should I say) the sound of the 514.
