So glad you asked about this as I did that with mixed results. My Snark went crazy afterwards, neither my yoke-style or spring-style capo work anymore now, and all the tone it produces now sounds like it is coming from my attic. I took it to my tech and he said it would cost $2,100 just to peer inside the hole with a flashlight. Do you think that I should risk it or just sell the guitar to someone with an earwax build-up problem?
