The best guitar, for the money, I have is a Seagull S6 Sunburst GlossTop. A good looker, J45 like.
I bought it essentially as a new guitar. Somebody caused a small crack near the pickguard, about an inch long. The crack was professionally repaired at the store I purchased it from. Because it could no longer be sold as truly new, it was marked down from $539.00 to $225.00.
It plays well as it is short scale (slim version). I have dialed it in as far as strings, saddle, pins. It looks and sounds better than it should.
Seagull S6's are billed as "starter" guitars. I think they are way more than that.
