They really have for me. I absolutely love wood, especially on guitars, I continue to gawk over them constantly. But the fact that I get a tone I love, excellent (and unchanging) playability, and the ultimate plus of not having to worry about temperature and humidity, I don't see myself buying a wood acoustic unless I became wealthy (and thats not looking very promising).
