Recommend to me some "listening" bluegrass...
Greensky Bluegrass, Railroad Earth, String Cheese Incident, Leftover Salmon, Michael Daves. I realize a lot of this may not be “traditional”, but since you stated “modern” I’m taking that to mean you may include more progressive variants of the bluegrass genre that often fall into a “jamgrass” or full on jam band characterization. I love listening to both traditional and progressive bluegrass myself, but I’d probably rather be at a Railroad Earth show than a Hot Rize show personally.
